reflection on Scripted Story

When planning the scripted story podcast, I had several thoughts come to my mind but I instantly knew I had wanted to do a podcast on the effects of covid. At first I was confused on how I had wanted to conduct these interviews and go about recording different audio for one podcast. I had no idea how I had wanted to bring everything together and then I remembered, I had lived through this pandemic and I am the proof of positive growth and development along with several of my peers. This had narrowed my search for people to interview by a mile and I quickly became more excited to engage with the project, over the course of a few weeks I had conducted three interviews and felt strongly that I was able to portray my argument that although covid had devastating effects on people all over the world, there were many positive solutions that came through isolation such as growth and development of the mind. In my own experience, I had learned that isolation from your busy day is sometimes much needed for the best growth and development to ones body, this had showed its truthfulness in my generation today by a lot of us being much more socially inclined to reach out and say hello to people we don’t necessarily associate ourselves with. In conclusion I had really enjoyed the making of this podcast especially connecting more with my peers and learning about their experiences through covid. Yes we had shared very similar negative impacts we all had a different story to our positive impacts and that’s what I loved listening to, each experience had a story behind the person and the way that person chose to depict each story was something of an art in itself, almost like listening to your grandparents tell you a story of unimaginable times.
